Our flights over the city lasts for an hour. The total experience takes around 2-3 hours approximately including prepping the balloon and post-flight celebration.

To be honest even we don’t know the answer to that. In fact no one knows. That’s the beauty of it. The balloon flies with the wind, which determines direction and distance, so the views differ from flight to flight.

Although ballooning is very safe, there are a few passengers we are unable to fly:
– Ladies more than 3 months pregnant
– Children less than 6 years of age
– Anyone that has had major surgery in the last 6 months
– Anyone that has had a broken leg/arm in the last 6 months

You will be flying with a highly experienced team of pilots and crew. It is an unforgettable tour of South India that everyone must experience in their lifetime.

The envelope is typically constructed with fire-treated nylon or dacron that meet specific manufacturer requirements. This material is lightweight but very strong. The baskets are made of rattan, each one individually woven by hand onto a rigid frame.

The coldest part of your morning will be on the ground! Come dressed in comfortable layered clothing. Walking shoes and a hat are also recommended and of course don’t forget your camera.

Balloons are registered like any other aircraft and are subject to regular airworthiness checks.
The DGCA will not allow a balloon to be certified as airworthy unless these inspections and checks are done by authorized maintenance personnel and certified by them. All pilots are licensed and have to pass regular flight checks.

A balloon flies at different heights up to 5,000 feet. Our highly skilled pilots are experts at skimming the treetops and controlling the altitude of the balloon for the best visual experience.

We have no upper age limit but ballooning is an outdoor sport requiring a degree of agility. We recommend that people should be fit enough to climb in and out of the basket and to stand for about an hour.

On a standard flight you will join a group of 4 people excluding the pilot.
